Yes. Atoa offers both Pay by Bank and card payments on Shopify. When you install the Atoa plugins from the Shopify App Store, both payment methods become available at checkout. Pay by Bank gives your customers a fast, bank-approved experience with lower transaction fees. Card payments continue to work as normal, no change to the customer experience for those who prefer it.
Yes. Atoa is a fully regulated Shopify payment gateway, authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA, FRN #1007647). Every Pay by Bank transaction is secured by UK Open Banking standards and biometric authentication. Atoa is available on the Shopify App Store and is approved for use by UK registered limited businesses.
Pay by Bank payments don’t have chargebacks. They’re bank-to-bank and final once your customer approves them, so there’s no risk of disputes or the admin that comes with them. This protects your Shopify store from fraudulent disputes and the admin that comes with them.
Card payments still follow standard card dispute rules, so chargebacks may apply.
